Heroes of Small Business celebrates owners as they fight against incredible odds, day in and day out - like superheroes. Like a proper franchise, we launched with a bombastic trailer, teeing up three animated films from acclaimed director and animator Karin Fong of Imaginary Forces. We enlisted the talents of hip hop artist Tobe Nwigwe to narrate the films and create a custom track, which he released on streaming platforms. Social creators collaborated and added to the sound design of the films, riffed on the music, and shared the small businesses they love. We drove our audience to nominate their own #smallbizheroes. Ten of the nominated businesses each won a $10,000 prize from Google.
